THE BRIEF | Design a book cover for George Orwell's dystopian novel 'Nineteen Eighty-Four'. The main element of the cover has to be handmade.
THE SOLUTION | Mould a head by hand to reflect the Party's control over its citizens and its desire to reshape human thoughts, history and culture to maintain its power. The final product represents the destruction of history, civilisation and humanity. It recalls the remnants of a past civilisation.

World Aid Education
THE BRIEF | Design a brochure for World Aid, a non-profit organisation that runs emergency relief programs and produces reports to provide transparency about where funds from donations are being spent. Build an engaging type lockup and visual language to represent their core values: Equality, Education and Humanity.
THE SOLUTION | Put education and empowerment in the spotlight by creating a unique type lockup using basic geometric shapes and showing literacy and numeracy as the building blocks of our society.

THE BRIEF | Design a cover page and 2 double page spreads for an off-beat, non-conformist magazine for adventurous travellers who want to experience unconventional destinations.
THE SOLUTION | Capture the atmosphere of Nam Ou River in Laos, through whimsical duotone image treatments. The imagery chosen represents the meander of the river and the national flower of Laos. The logomark for the magazine represents travel as self-exploration and as an eye-opening experience.

THE BRIEF | Develop a brand name and visual identity for a new telecommunications company targeted at young teenagers (11-19 yo). The identity and name of the brand should reflect the essence of what the company can do for their consumers.
THE SOLUTION | 'Viva', a brand that celebrates teenagers’ identity, personality and individuality and gives young people their first taste of independence and freedom at a time when their parents still control their expenses.

Hipsisters Creative Workshops
THE BRIEF | The Country Women's Association is the largest women's organisation in Australia. It has decided to hold an event to represent themselves in a new light with the aim to attract a more urban-based and younger female demographic.
THE SOLUTION | Branding the event with a bold colour palette, hand-drawn lettering and a sassy empowering tone of voice celebrating women and their crafts. Focusing on the concept of sisterhood and the hipster movement, I created a series of workshops promoting vintage crafts and women.

THE BRIEF | Create a responsive website for bike sharing in Oxford, UK. The website should appeal to a large demographic, both locals and tourists.
THE SOLUTION | Creating an engaging and functional website with a strong modular grid and a friendly approach through the use of contrast and colour. The colour palette reflects the main elements of Oxford city: parklands, water and architecture.
